[NEWS] About so-loved Awards!
In a period where K-Pop is gaining more and more attention in Europe, current trends will be shown by the so-loved Awards every year. On the basis of the number of votes and the winners in each category, the Awards will indicate which artists will have a real chance to find their way into the European market. Thus so-loved and K-Colors of Korea collect important information for K-Pop fans as well as their idols.
The so-loved Awards take place already for the second time in 2011. All German speaking K-Pop fans, no matter where they live in Europe, are invited to give their votes.
Voting in the 17 categories is open from November 1 until November 30. It is only possible to vote once in each category.
**Due to the high interest the so-loved Awards are generating, we are opening the voting for fans from all over Europe. However, votes from non-European countries will not be included in the final results.

Many people from all over the world are wishing U-Kiss’ Kiseop a happy birthday on Twitter.
On January 17, U-Kiss’ Soohyun tweeted, “Today is Kiseop’s birthday. Happy birthday Kiseop and let’s be more successful. I love you.” Dongho also wished him a happy birthday.
Then fans from all over the world wished Kiseop a happy birthday by using Twitter’s search function, Hash Tag, ‘#happybirthdayKiseop.’
Lots of people are using the hash tag, resulting in more than 30 comments per minute, wishing Kiseop a happy birthday. Kiseop expressed his gratitude by saying, “Thank you.”

[NEWS] U-KISS selected as #1 Hallyu group to watch out for in Japan
Boy band U-KISS has been selected as the #1 Hallyu group to watch out for in Japan this year.
Major Japanese portal site ‘Zapallas‘ conducted a survey asking users who they thought would be ’2012′s Greatest Hallyu star in Japan’. U-KISS member Kevin secured the #1 spot under the ‘Hallyu star’ category, while the group as a whole came in at #1 under the ‘group’ category.
100 famous Japanese fortune tellers also took part in the survey, making their decisions based on astrological signs, blood types, as well as 574 other ways to determine fortune for the new year. Taking into consideration that a drama series and a movie is being considered to be made about the boys in both Korea and Japan, the participants felt that U-KISS would be able to further make a name for themselves in Japan.
On top of speaking Korean, the U-KISS members also speak English, Japanese, as well as Chinese, and the boys have made their faces known by speaking English on global programs that aired overseas. This year, the boys are determined to succeed in Japan as well as deliver solid performances in Korea in order to rise to the top.
U-KISS will be traveling back and forth from Korea to Japan and are preparing for their Japanese album scheduled to be released in February, as well as their Japanese Tour that begins in March. Members Dongho and Hoon will have an especially busy year, as they have also been cast in the new drama series ‘Holy Land‘.

[NEWS] 120118 Japan Chooses U-KISS as New Hallyu Stars of 2012
On a poll in Japan, the Japanese people were asked on who do they think will emerge as the new top Hallyu star this 2012, and in the survey, U-KISS took first place. U-KISS already had their official debut in Japan last year and had active promotions in Japan too. However, they have not yet reached the highest peak of their promotions in Japan.
It seems that the members of U-KISS has captivated the hearts of the Japanese fans and they are looking forward to U-KISS' Japan advancement this year. NH Media said, "We have plans on releasing new music in both Korea and Japan this year and we hope that it will be received well both domestically and overseas".
Meanwhile, U-KISS is set to release a new album this coming February and they will be embarking on a tour all over Japan by March.

[INFO] 120117 Alexander cast in drama 'Immortal Masterpiece'
Alexander has been cast in Channel A's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Immortal Masterpiece' as the character... Alexander. The first broadcast of the drama will air on the 14th of March, Wednesday.
'Immortal Masterpiece' describes a cooking showdown between the successor of a renowned chef and the apprentice of a top chef. Between a Seolleongtang restaurant and a master of cooking, the drama will showcase the fate, misunderstandings and forgiveness over 4 generations of two families. The drama is reminiscent of artist Heo Young Man's original movie 'Le Grand Chef'. The main theme of 'Immortal Masterpiece' is Kimchi, following Channel A's recent drama 'Bachelor's Vegetable Store' as another 'vegetable' drama. Filming for the drama has commenced and will be done in Daejeon, South Korea.
