[NEWS] 120416 U-KISS Will Lead the K-POP Wave in Colombia

U-KISS, the seven member group, is the first artist attached to the largest K-POP concert to be held in South America.

U-KISS will be stepping foot in the 'Plaza de eventos parque simon bolicom' next month on the 12th to participate in the 2012 "Los 40 Principales". U-KISS is expected to perform 3-4 songs in front of 50,000 spectators. They will be the first K-POP artist to perform at this South American event.

This concert will be broadcast nation-wide and throughout several countries on CaracolTV Principales.

U-KISS shared their thoughts on the event an interview with Billboard Korea. "Recently K-POP has been on the rise in Colombia, but we did not know that we were the leading the wave. It will be our first time in Colombia. We are absolutely thrilled to have been selected". Leader SooHyun also expressed "to fulfill the duties of a representative, (we) will showcase the great qualities of K-POP. U-KISS's strong and addictive songs will excite the Colombian fans."

U-KISS debuted in 2008 with their first mini-album 'New Generation'. The group currently consists of members SooHyun, Eli, Kevin, KiSeop, DongHo, AJ and Hoon. They have had several hits including 'ManManHaNi', 'Bingeul Bingeul' and 'Neverland'. Their newest mini-album is to be released this month.

As the selected representative, U-KISS will be leaving on the morning of the 10th from Incheon Airport to Colombia. The press conference for the event will be held on the 11th at 4PM. And finally, during the concert, U-KISS will present the 'K-POP Virus' for 50,000 audience members to see.

[NEWS] 120416 U-KISS's 6th Mini-Album 'DORADORA'

U-KISS will be making their comeback in Korea on April 25 with their 6th mini-album, 'Dora Dora'.

Last year, U-KISS released their second studio album 'Neverland', and after ward embarked on their Japanese activities. They had two releases along with a nation-wide tour in Japan, which gathered over 30,000 people.

U-Kiss’ 6th mini-album is titled “DORADORA”.

NH Media recently announced that U-Kiss will be making their comeback on mid-April. The group has been cautious and putting a lot of efforts in selecting the track to live up the high expectations of the fans in their first comeback in seven months.

[NEWS] 120415 U-Kiss's Eli hints on new album release through Twitter

U-Kiss's Eli revealed a hint of their comeback after an update from his Twitter account yesterday. On April 14th, Eli updated his Twitter account asking his followers to keep a lookout for his updates on details about their new album and comeback.

On the said tweet written in English, Eli stated, "Our new album is coming out soon so please~~~~ everyone please vote when it comes out~ keep a lookout for my tweets!" The tweet has garnered a lot of retweets and replies from fans for the sudden announcement and expressed their excitement for their comeback.

NH Media previously reported that U-Kiss will be making a comeback in mid-April and is particularly cautious in selecting tracks for their album.

U-Kiss is also scheduled to visit Colombia to participate in a music festival and fanmeeting.
