Apart from being here in Malaysia for a solo showcase for the first time, Alexander will also have an intimate meal with Malaysian fans after meeting the press~ The helpless fans were all shy upon meeting their idol, letting Alexander take the initiative to break the ice, firstly removing the table so fans can interact more closely with him. Thinking about it, it was quite a "cold" dining atmosphere initially, but with Alexander's "hard work", the fans were finally opening up and starting to talk and interact with him, with one fan unexpectedly asking him when his first kiss was, making Alexander laugh heartily, but still giving the same response that he hasn't given his first kiss to anyone yet! As for why he hadn't updated his Twitter since he arrived in Malaysia, it was because he wasn't able to connect to a wireless connection at the hotel he's staying at, hence causing him, a "I can't not have Twitter!" person, to be unable to update~ So fans, don't be angry okay?
Admitting that in the past, due to U-Kiss having a large number of members, and having full schedules, they had very few chances to be able to be so up close and personal with fans like that, Alexander seems very excited to be able to chat up close and eat together with fans. He not only sincerely asked everyone for their names, but what the fans wanted -- a fulfilling, warm and friendly manner. When the fans asked if he would cook for them, he freely agreed, even making a promise to do so in the following year! [Live Showcase] Alexander performed with his own style for the first time in Malaysia, choosing to sing Chinese, English and Korean songs. With the fans' constant screaming for an "encore", Alexander too constantly sent electrifying waves to the fans, also showing the cute side of him from time to time, "intoxicating" the fans and making them go wild.
Organising a solo ticketed performance for the first time, even though Alexander sang only 5 songs, he specially changed into 4 types of outfits, with Chinese, English and Korean song choices, satisfying the various fans. Singing a mandarin song for the first time, Alexander specially chose 《情非得已》"Can't Help (Falling in Love)", saying: "It's the first time I'm singing a mandarin song, I'm really nervous, how is it? OK? I've given all my 'first times' to here (this showcase)."
While performing 《Bad Girl》, Alexander constantly charmed the fans, and when asked whether he likes "Bad Girl"s, he said: "Well I don't know, good girls are good, but you know people always say you end up liking someone who's the opposite so…" At the same time, he expresses that he wouldn't mind having a Malaysian girlfriend. In the later performances, Alexander gestured "Yeah" and "Love" with his hands, and "killed" the huge number of female fans in the audience with his smile.
During his solo dance performance, Alexander repeatedly showed his Body Wave move, after which saying: "I've practiced this for many hours, you can train your abs. In the past when I was in U-Kiss, I wasn't very good at dancing, and I would practice against the wall for one to two hours."
Other than singing, Alexander also specially chose 3 fans to come up on stage and dance, and when the fans below requested for Alexander to give hugs to the fans on stage, he was shocked, saying: "You guys are different, normally when fans see me hug the fans on stage, they'd be speechless."
The live premiere of Alexander's 《I Just》music video was also shown, and when talking about the behind-the-scenes of the music video, Alexander said, "Normally when you film an MV, a day or two is needed, but I took two to three days instead, because I had to record it in different versions with the different languages. Thank you everyone for supporting me since the beginning, and my career isn't over yet, it's only just the beginning!"
Although only 5 songs were meant to be performed, due to the fans' screaming for an "encore", Alexander returned to the stage with another song after discussing with the staff backstage, even jumping down from the stage and shaking hands with the fans, giving out posters, and even throwing his bottle of water to them. Also, fans who purchased VIP tickets were able to go up on stage at the end for autographs by Alexander, but emphasizing that neither photos nor handshakes were allowed, and that only one autograph would be given, either on the album or on the calendar, fans having to choose one for Alexander to sign on.

At his first performance in Malaysia, with the 'Big 3' *, Alexander "intoxicates" many fans, even adding an "extra", singing one more song for the fans. Indeed, he gives the Malaysian fans extra love! No wonder he says he doesn't mind having a Malaysian girlfriend!
Since leaving U-KISS, this is Alexander's first time performing as a solo artiste with a large scale showcase in Malaysia. Even though he sang only 5 songs for the night, these songs included songs in Chinese, English and Korean. Also, he had outfit changes 5 times, isn't that sincere! Thinking about it, while he was singing 《情非得已》/ Can't Help (Falling in Love), despite having a slight mistake due to perhaps being not too familiar with the lyrics, and glancing at the monitor for help, he added a short 2 lines of 《Rasa Sayang》*, as a way of perhaps making up for the small mistake. As for the fans, they were completely into it, bursting into screams, which made Alexander smile so wide you couldn't see his eyes, and then saying how he has given all his "first times" to Malaysia!
Thinking about it, for Korean stars who come to Malaysia to do a ticketed event, other than presenting their songs, hugs and affection aren't lacking as well, and of course Alexander is no exception! During the games segment, Alexander generously gave hugs, and surprisingly the fans who weren't on stage were not only not jealous, but even encouraged Alexander to hug the ones who were, making Alexander praise the Malaysian fans for having not only passion but also big hearts! Amongst the fans playing the games onstage was also a fan from Singapore. Coming overseas to see her idol and being able to go onstage for games must be really satisfying!
For tonight's performance, after displaying his dance skills, he revealed that he initially had problems with the Body Wave, and that in the past when he was in U-KISS, he had to practice against the wall everyday for 1-2 hours. Even so, he laughed saying that it was because of this that he could train his figure, teasing the fans by pulling up his T-Shirt a little. Of course, even with that action, he didn't reveal anything~ Indeed, he is an idol star! Although he didn't reveal any skin, he of course gave Malaysian fans a lot of fan service, saying that other than having the first premiere of 《I Just》MV in Malaysia at the showcase, he even pushed to add an additional song at the end, only for the Malaysian fans~ Talking about the filming process for the MV, Alexander expressed that he had a total of 3 days worth of filming, due to the the song having different versions due to the different languages. He says that it's a love song to the fans, thanking them for their support all this while!
This event was close to about two hours, and other than singing and dancing, Alexander never forgot to charm his fans with cute expressions and actions, nearly causing all his fans to melt~ the screams never ceasing! With a cute personality, when being asked whether he likes bad girls, he laughs saying that of course he likes girls with good personalities, but somehow guys always fall for the bad girls!
In addition to this, Alexander admits that he actually anticipated for only half of the crowd to turn up, and when he saw that the entire area was full of fans, he felt very touched, and in return, giving his fans lots of love; during the encore song, he even ran down from the stage, coming close to the fans and shaking their hands, giving out posters, and also throwing his water bottle to them, causing a moment of commotion below the stage. During the autograph segment, although fans were not allowed to have handshakes or take photos, and were only allowed 1 autograph each; either on the album or on the calendar. However, as Alexander promised that he wouldn't leave till he finished signing autographs for everyone, we believe that the fans didn't mind it at all!
*'Big 3': It's a play on Alexander's name in Chinese (山大) with the "山" having a similar sound to the number 3, and "大" meaning 'big'.

Alexander's appearance definitely left fans surprised and touched, while his charismatic stage presence made fans unable to resist! Once he appeared, Alexander started off with a dance track, "Bad Girl". While performing his "body wave", he sent shockwaves to fans at both sides of the stage at the same time! Walking to center stage, he often gave winks and smiles to the fans below, leaving fans unable to resist shouting: "(You're) So handsome! So cute!" In addition, when Alexander said that he would be singing the theme song of "Secret Garden", "That Man", the whole audience of fans burst out in screams! Alexander used 4 different languages to greet and wish everyone a Merry Christmas~ He also playfully asked the fans, "Are you coming to my showcase tomorrow?", which sent fans below screaming loudly, while on stage, Alexander showed his affectionate smile once again~

Alexander, after leaving Korean group U-KISS and going Solo, has finally come to Malaysia to hold his first large-scale showcase and autograph event~ One day prior to the event, Alexander also made time to chat and meet with the press! Having visited Malaysia together with Brian for 3rd Wave's event in October, now he is actually here with his very first single "I Just", but of course, he's equally as happy! Alexander, considered to be a frequent visitor to Malaysia, has actually been here for three times already~ He says that Malaysian fans are very friendly, and him being familiar with various languages, has no problem communicating in Malaysia. Hence, he feels very comfortable being here!
Coming to promote in Malaysia, of course delicious food is the most important part~ Alexander, who loves to eat, was also asked if he had tried the durian he was unable to eat the previous time, and he embarrassedly laughed, saying "I ate it yesterday~it was during the filming at the TV station, the host of the programme let me try~ Haha! Because the people around me are very afraid of the smell, in the end, I had to hide in the washroom to eat~ Haha!" Other than durian, Alexander also loves to eat satay!
Recently, the Hallyu Wave is also influencing Western countries, with many Korean singers having concerts in Paris, Europe and etc. So has Alexander, who's in the midst of a promotional tour, thought of performing in these countries? Alexander expresses that he wouldn't mind going to Europe to hold a concert, as long as he is invited to go he would, and it would all depend on the fans' requests~ Indeed, how thoughtful!
With Christmas coming soon, Alexander has to stay in Korea and spend it with his friends, since his family is in Macau! As for the upcoming year, what plans does he have? Alexander reveals that he would continue doing promotional tours, as well as going to audition for a part in a drama, planning to be part of a drama series!
When talking about his new works, Alexander says that he had to spend a lot of time to prepare and practice, having to start practicing in the morning all the way to the next, this shows how serious he is about it!

After going solo from Korean group U-KISS, former member Alexander came, for the third time, to promote in Malaysia, holding his first large-scale showcase and autograph event! At the showcase, Alexander was definitely very sincere, singing a total of 5 songs, including the new songs in his latest single, "Bad Girl", "Oh! Baby", "I Just", as well as a Chinese and a Korean song, theme song from Taiwanese idol drama "Meteor Garden", "Can't Help (Falling in Love)", and theme song from popular Korean drama "Secret Garden", "That Man"! After performing "Can't Help (Falling in Love)", Alexander spoke to the fans in mandarin, saying "I'm really nervous, singing a song in mandarin in front of everyone~", asking fans whether his mandarin was all right? Of course, fans backed Alexander, saying "It's OK!"
Being pretty gifted with languages, Alexander was also requested by the host to flaunt 7 different languages! Firstly, Alexander asked the fans in Cantonese, "Is there anyone who speaks Cantonese?", and then, "Can you speak Mandarin?", followed by "Do you know speaking in Malay?" in English. Next, in Korean, "Do you know Korean?". Lastly, in Japanese, "Can you speak Japanese?" Indeed, the saying that Alexander can speak 7 languages is true! Alexander said that because fans can even understand 7 different types of languages, there's definitely no need to worry about any language barrier!
After performing the first song, "Bad Girl", he expressed how happy he was to visit Malaysia again, and that the venue is filled with people, not forgetting to praise the Malaysian fans for their passion! He also playfully asked fans, "You guys are bad girl right?" Alexander said that he had previously held a showcase in Hong Kong, and so he hoped that fans would enjoy the performances that he had prepared for them! When the host asked Alexander what a "Bad Girl" is to him, he laughed, saying "Of course good girls are good, but isn't it often that guys would fall for the bad girl instead? I don't mind a Malaysian girlfriend!" Upon saying this, all the female fans melted!
Alexander expressed how standing on stage as a solo artist makes him very nervous, as he has to command the stage on his own, and has to talk a lot to the fans. Upon hearing this, fans below the stage, in unison, shouted in Korean, "It's all right! It's all right!". Alexander asked fans in response, "Is it really all right?" Fans all nodded one after another.
This being a rare visit to Malaysia, naturally Alexander wouldn't leave out games with fans and being up-close and personal! Among the games was one where three lucky fans had to portray 3 different kinds of "Bad Girl": A cute "Bad Girl", a flirty "Bad Girl", and a sexy "Bad Girl". The fan who had to portray a sexy "Bad Girl" was unexpectedly daring, bravely walking up to Alexander who was squatting at the front of the stage, taking off her jacket and wrapping it around his neck in a teasing manner! The girl's actions certainly made fans roar with screams, and leaving Alexander a little "shocked" too, saying "This is the first time I'm being treated by a girl like this!", which sent the whole crowd of fans screaming once again.
Since 5 songs definitely can't satisfy the fans, they shouted for an encore~ Alexander then performed "Oh! Baby" once again, going to the crowd and handing out posters, driving the crowd wild. He even threw his water bottle to the fans, and of course, the fans took it all!

Alexander doesn't like girls who flirt but likes girls who are matured, even exclaming: "I don't mind a relationship with someone older!"
About to have his first solo showcase in Malaysia, Alexander brought his first solo EP to meet the Malaysian press one day before his performance. When asked about his ideal type, surprisingly Alexander expressed that he thinks girls who love to flirt are "NG" (no good), and says that he likes matured girls, and doesn't mind someone older!
Starting his solo activities, other than releasing an EP, he revealed that he will be auditioning for a Korean Idol drama, hoping that he will be acting in the future. He also expressed that he would like to take on a challenging role completely different from his personality, and that even if he had to be ugly, he wouldn't mind at all! When asked about whether there's a female actress that he would like to work with, he says Lee Min Jung; because she has a nice personality, it should be quite comfortable to work with her. Even so, he denies that Lee Min Jung is his ideal partner, but if he really would have to choose, he honestly admits that compared to a girl who flirts a lot, he prefers a girl with a matured personality!
Although having left the group, Alexander teases about when he was in U-Kiss, having an angry image that was akin to "being possessed" due to the strong style of the music. Even so, he still hopes that he would be able to work with U-Kiss again if there's a chance in the future, mainly also because this is what the fans hope to see~ As for Kim Ki Bum who left at the same time as he did, Alexander says that they still keep in touch. He says, "Although he doesn't really reveal what he's busy with, but currently he's active in Japan, he has performances too. If there's a chance to collaborate, it should be very fun."
As for tomorrow night's first solo showcase in Malaysia, Alexander does not deny how nervous he is, "I've been practicing almost every single day, from being in a group to becoming a solo performer, actually I feel a lot of pressure, but I believe that I can do it." Afterwards, Xander also mentioned how the styles of music he's currently trying out are much closer to his own personality, but he doesn't mind trying out crazy and fun things, "If I have to play handsome, or act cutely, I'm OK too~ Haha"
Gifted with an excellent linguistic ability, Alexander is proficient in 7 languages. Although his mandarin is a little rocky, he reveals that he will be singing a song in mandarin at his showcase tomorrow night~ As for whether he would release an album in mandarin, he says, "Actually for this EP, I was considering recording songs in mandarin, but due to the lack of time, for now it'll just be only songs in Japanese, Korean and English, but I will definitely try doing mandarin songs in the future!"

[NEWS] Allen Kibum captivated fans with his solo in Tokyo
On the 29th, Allen Kibum (21), former member of Korean idol group U-KISS, hold his first solo public performance at Billboard Live Tokyo. Getting withdrawn from the said group earlier in February, he has been doing various activities such as emceeing and performing on stage musical. In conjunction with his birthday, on that day he brought the public performance to realization.
On the stage, he debuted [did public performace for the first time] with 6 songs, amongst which are Japanese songs which he himself composed, ‘Let you go’ and ‘DREAM’. He entertained fans with various songs he had prepared, from rhythmic and blues to ballad song and dance number. “I composed them based on my own experience. Having thought that Allen, too, has worked hard, I hope you can lend me your support,” he addressed the seated audience.

[NEWS] 111231 MBC Gayo Daejejun’s U-KISS Performance Crisis
U-Kiss has experienced a broadcasting accident on MBC’s Gayo Daejeon.
MBC Gayo Daejeon broadcasted live on December 31st at KyungGi KwangMyungShi’s KwangMyung Dome. As U-KISS performance started, their confusion was immediately noticeable. U-Kiss planned to appear and open with ’0330′ and ‘Neverland’, after Secret and 4Minute’s collaboration stage.
However the lyrics of ’0330′ at the beginning could not be heard, and the audience tilted their heads in uncertainty. Whether it was lack of timing, or a problem with the mic, the audience could not hear lyrics for a short period of time. During this time, the members were startled, looking at each other in surprise. They completed their ‘Neverland’ performance with flying colors, and no other problems were found.
