Seven-member boy band U-Kiss is eyeing their return to the local music scene in two months.
"The members have been working on a new album which we are aiming to drop around mid-September," an official with their agency NH Media told the magazine in a phone interview today.
When asked about their forthcoming concept and format of the album, the NH rep said, "Everything is under wraps right now and we will start to release hints once the date comes closer."
The group’s last release in the country was their special mini-album "The Special to KissMe” dropped in June, and they promoted the title track “Believe” ahead of their activities in Japan.
Meanwhile, U-Kiss is concurrently staying in Japan for their first Japanese tour "A Shared Dream," which kicked off its 25-day run on July 5. After wrapping up the tour, the boys will perform at Japan's "a-nation stadium fest" alongside popular artists from Asia.
U-Kiss' third Japanese single “Dear My Friend,” which was released yesterday, managed to rank at No. 5 on the prestigious Oricon daily singles chart right after its release.
Additionally, U-Kiss is scheduled roll out their fourth Japanese single “One of You” and open a concert at the coveted Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, which will both be held on September 5.
